The FABU alumni network receives a donation from the outgoing vice-president for administration and finance at the University of Wuppertal

The University of Wuppertal's alumni network FABU receives a donation of 1,100 euros. The outgoing vice-president for administration and finance at the University of Wuppertal, Dr. Roland Kischkel, did not want any gifts at his farewell ceremony on 27 September, but called for a donation to FABU. FABU Chairman Dr. Jens M. Schmidt: "Dr. Roland Kischkel was very closely associated with FABU and I appreciate his great commitment to alumni work. On behalf of the Executive Board, I would like to express my sincere thanks for the appreciative idea of the donation."

Since 2009, vice-president for administration and finance Dr. Roland Kischkel has been responsible for the university's economic, legal and structural matters as a member of the rectorate and head of university administration. Dr. Ursula Löffler will be the new Chancellor of the University of Wuppertal from October 1.

The Friends and Alumni of Bergische Universität e.V. (FABU) is an interdisciplinary association that forms a strong network for the more than 22,500 students, alumni, members and partners of Bergische Universität. FABU supports a wide range of projects at the University of Wuppertal and sees itself as a bridge between research and business.
